The worst thing that anyone has ever said to me…

I was having a conversation with a friend about the way women like me are treated and how they are spoken to. The question was put to me “What’s the worse thing that anyone has ever said to you?”. The question was an easy one to answer as the memory was firmly etched on my mind.

“This is very serious! They lock up people like you!”, I replied.

“OMG! who said that?”

I paused and then answered, ” My Father, when I was about 15?.

I paused then collapsed in a puddle of tears.
